Where to Begin... [Blog]

It's been a busy month and a half, hence my lack of posts. To trim the fat, the deposit on my old house is sorted (or at least as sorted as it's ever going to be). I haven't had any contact from Ultimate Connexions regarding the work I was going to do for them, and I'm not sure about badgering since that never seems to work out. That is, I figure if they still want the work done they will say something. Maybe. Other work has been fine, been working steady balancing tech jobs and shop work, making up my rent money at a snail's pace.

There's been a small hiccup on that front; a mixup with my direct debit form means that there's going to be issue paying my rent on time this month. Ah well, the way I see it is this; the money's there, and when they decide to take it they're welcome to it. Until then, it can sit and earn me interest for all I care! On the money front, my phone bill overran by two hours this month, which works out to about 1.5 times my allowance. Surely that's not going to be a probl-- SEVENTY ONE POUNDS??? WHAT THE FUCK, O2??? Ahem. Bugger.

Despite my time off, I haven't been writing much. I just don't seem to be able to find the time between jobs at the moment, and the twilight hours haven't been as productive as normal. I'm still aiming to publish by around March-time, though I'm starting to get a little jittery about the date. After all, I can't very well publish something that has yet to be written, can I?

Well, I'll redouble my efforts and report back soon(ish)...
